On a recent episode of his podcast, Steve Bannon and Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) celebrated Donald Trump’s historic win, with Greene describing the atmosphere at Mar-a-Lago as ecstatic. Bannon invited Greene to share her thoughts, calling her a long-standing supporter and fighter for Trump.
Greene responded enthusiastically, crediting the victory to Americans’ rejection of what she called a “communist regime” that had been undermining freedoms, promoting open borders, and advancing agendas she disagrees with, such as abortion rights and gender issues.
She emphasized her dedication to securing a decisive win in Georgia, attributing the success to extensive grassroots efforts.Bannon further asked Greene about her rumored interest in leading the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), to which she responded with her commitment to dismantling the “deep state” and restoring what she described as American values.
She also pledged to pursue pardons for January 6 participants and hold those accountable whom she believes “abused the power of Congress,” referencing Liz Cheney, Bennie Thompson, and Nancy Pelosi by name. Greene criticized their actions on the January 6 Committee, alleging they unjustly targeted Trump supporters while overlooking incidents involving groups like Antifa and BLM.
As the conversation continued, Greene made it clear that she and Bannon intend to continue pushing for justice reform, aiming to “restore the scales” and bring balance to what they view as a partisan legal system
