‘Heartbroken’ Gary Sinise mourning sudden death of son, 33. His cause of death has been revealed and we can’t stop crying… Check comments

The Sinise family is reeling from the devastating loss of their beloved son, McCanna Anthony “Mac” Sinise, who tragically passed away at the young age of 33. Gary Sinise, renowned actor and philanthropist, shared the heartbreaking news of Mac’s passing on January 5, revealing that Mac had succumbed to his battle with Chordoma, a rare form of cancer.

Mac’s journey with cancer began in August 2018, just months after Gary’s wife, Moira Harris, battled and conquered stage three breast cancer. Despite undergoing numerous spine surgeries and facing paralysis from the chest down, Mac’s indomitable spirit shone through as he pursued his passion for music. He graduated from the University of Southern California, specializing in songwriting and composition, and even worked alongside his father in the Lt. Dan Band as a drummer.

Throughout his arduous battle, Mac never lost sight of his love for music, completing his album “Resurrection & Revival” shortly before his passing. Gary expressed the profound grief of losing a child, acknowledging the heartbreak shared by families who have experienced similar losses.
