March the homeless Pit Bull was a laid-back and joyful man when he was initially taken off the streets, according to ilovemydogsomuch.
The staff at the municipal shelter in Philadelphia was optimistic that this well-mannered kid would soon find his permanent home. However, March’s stay in the shelter quickly turned into a terrifying nightmare.
March was not accustomed to sharing cramped cages with other terrified creatures up for adoption. He suffered psychologically from this, and his zeal started to fade. The worst setback for him, though, was being turned down by a family who had offered to adopt him on the grounds that he wasn’t as “playful” as they had anticipated.
