A range owner in southern New Jersey put up a billboard that says, “The only time we take a knee,” in an attempt to capitalize on the entire NFL player protest of the playing of the national anthem. The billboard features a picture of a person wearing all black carrying an in addition to the text. Liberals in the neighborhood are upset about this billboard because it implicitly mocks NFL players who are kneeling to protest police brutality.
Even now, some people are referring to the range video as “.”
However, the owner of the range has publicly said that the sign is unrelated to race or the US. The South Jersey Club’s owner, Wesley Aducat, stated:
Locals are nevertheless upset, despite the range owner’s assertion that his marketing has nothing to do with race.An individual by the name of MoNeke Ragsdale took a photo of the billboard and used Twitter to “expose” Aducat’s “” sign.
Kindly give me a call! This billboard in Voorhees, on Route 73 Inform them about this billboard. Saying “no” to the police is demonstrated by taking a knee. To show solidarity for Black and Brown people, the women of SJWPC are bending down. Take it down! Carmen Console, 609-704-9500, is the manager.
Aducat respects the players’ freedom to protest even if he hopes that every NFL player would stand during the national anthem. It states that doing so is within their first amendment rights. But Aducat is aware of the pain the NFL protest causes, having seen it personally with several of his club’s veterans.
However, the NAACP chapter in the area claims that Aducat does not understand the significance of the kneeling.
“We’re talking about unarmed Black people being killed by police,” said Keith Blenson Sr., an NAACP member. “(The South Jersey Club) is deserving of every accolade that follows their posting. However, they most likely believed they were smart. They most likely believed themselves to be resilient, patriotic Americans.
